Cult musical The Rocky Horror Show is touring the UK at the moment, as part of celebrations to mark 40 years since hitting the big screen. Back then Tim Curry, Susan Sarandron and Meatloaf played what has become some of the most iconic characters in cinema and musical theatre history. Off course, it’s all the brain child of Richard O’Brien who also starred in the 1973 musical and movie as the mildly scary Riff Raff.
Now, reality stars Diana Vickers and Ben Freeman have become the latest in a long line of big names to play Janet and Brad and Thomas Magill went along to a performance in Manchester for BBC Radio 2 to find out what’s the secret to it’s longevity and popularity….
